Best time for gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is done throughout the year. However, the best time to trek is during the dry season of June-Sptember and December-February when the tracks are less slippery.

What vehicles are suitable for a gorilla trekking safari?

For a comfortable and unforgettable gorilla trekking experience, a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended. This is because the road leading to the park is uneven and it gets very difficult to navigate especially during the wet season. You need a vehicle with good traction.

Can seniors trek gorillas?

There is no rule that forbids seniors from gorilla trekking. Many seniors (60-80) have successfully completed the trek and have amazing stories to tell.
