Trip Overview
These 8 days will cover Uganda’s iconic wildlife including, Gorilla & Chimpanzee tracking, Rhinos and a visit to Murchison & Queen Elizabeth National parks famous for the diverse wildlife in Uganda and unwind at the serene Lake Bunyonyi in just a few days.
Itinerary
➢ Day 1 │Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
We will pick you from the airport or accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost. We will start with a drive to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an enriching guided trek to see rhinos in their natural habitat. Learn about conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures. Later we will continue our journey to the park for an over night.
➢ Day 2 │Full day In Murchison Falls National Park
We will embark on a thrilling morning game drive across the savannah, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. Capture the beauty of Uganda’s Big Five in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a Nile cruise, offering breathtaking views of the falls and opportunities to spot crocodiles, hippos, and various bird species.
After the cruise, hike to the top of Murchison Falls for a close-up view of the roaring waters as they thunder through the narrow gorge, a truly unforgettable highlight of your trip.
➢ Day 3 │ Transfer to Kibale National Park
This journey will take us through Uganda’s lush countryside as we make our way to Kibale National Forest, home to the world’s highest concentration of primates. Along the way, enjoy the diverse scenery of rolling hills, tea plantations, and vibrant local villages. Arrive in the evening and prepare for the incredible experiences awaiting you in Kibale National Park, where dense forests and unique wildlife encounters promise a memorable adventure.
➢ Day 4 │ Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale National Park and Transfer
In the morning you will venture into Kibale Forest for a chimpanzee trekking experience to encounter our closest relatives. Guided by experts, observe these intelligent primates up close as they play, feed, and interact. Later in the afternoon we travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its incredible biodiversity and stunning landscapes
➢ Day 5 │ Queen Elizabeth National Park
We will begin our day with an early morning game drive through the park’s scenic routes, exploring the Kasenyi Plains, looking for lions, leopards, elephants, and other animals in their natural habitant. Visit Lake Bunyampaka to observe Flamingos and salt pans. In the afternoon we will enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Witness large herds of elephants, hippos, and buffalo gathering at the water’s edge, alongside a variety of bird species.
➢ Day 6 │ Transfer to Bwindi
After a morning breakfast, we will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its incredible biodiversity. Uganda is home to the largest population of gorillas in Africa, making it the
ultimate destination for the best gorilla tours in Africa. Arrive at your lodge nestled in the forest, ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime tracking the majestic mountain gorilla.
➢ Day 7 │ Gorilla tracking and transfer to Bunyonyi
Experience the magic of gorilla trekking as you hike through Bwindi’s dense jungle. Spend a precious hour observing a gorilla family led by the commanding silverback gorilla, an intimate and truly unforgettable encounter with these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Later we will transfer to lake Bunyonyi for an over night stay.
➢ Day 8 │ Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast we will drive back to Entebbe, where every turn of the road offers a final glimpse of Uganda’s soul. Marvel at rolling hills, shimmering lakes, and warm smiles from locals waving along village paths. Each passing scene is a final, heartfelt farewell from Uganda.
Depending on your flight, will we arrive with enough time to check-in and prepare for departure that same day or those willing to send an extra night in Entebbe will be at an extra cost
